July 4 Family Fun Day Art and Photography Contests (continued)

At the arts and crafts event, children will be encouraged to create watercolor paintings which demonstrate their favorite things about the Fourth of July. This event will take place from 2:30 pm-4:30 pm and 5:30-6:30pm. 

After the event concludes, the awards will be decided by popular vote. First prize for each adult and child age group will be a $25 gift certificate.
The 2017 July 4th Family Fun Day is a day of fun, games, entertainment, and food. The day's schedule has been announced and consists of the following: Sparkler 5K Road Race (Start at Merrimack YMCA) at 8:00 am; Merrimack Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast (Mastricola Upper Elementary School Cafeteria) from 8:00 am - 11:00 am;  Parade (Daniel Webster Highway to Baboosic Lake Road ending at the Merrimack High School) starts at 1:00 pm;  Merrimack Rotary Family Fun Day (Mastricola Elementary School Grass Fields) from 12 noon -  9:00 pm with contests, food vendors, club & service organizations, live stage events, non-profit organizations, children's entertainment, teen entertainment, dunk tank, business vendors, crafts & gifts, specialty vendors, family entertainment, local bands, live demonstrations, and much, much more;  Fireworks (Merrimack High School field) - July 4th begin at dusk.
